Water Shutoff Recommendations
How to turn off your water
The HOA Board would like to remind property owners to shut off your water while travelling away from your Northshore Terrace condominium.
Locate your meter. The water meters are located adjacent to the buildings in the parking lot islands or in the Mail shed. Use the map below to find the location of your building water meters. Your unit number is shown on the top of the meter.
Open the meter to access the shut off valve. You water meter has a metal door that can be opened by lifting it with a scredriver or similar tool.
Turn off your water. Locate your shut off valve and turn it clockwise to turn the water off. Be careful to not disconnect the wire which runs from the meter to the top of the plate. Arrow on the left picture points to shutoff valve.
Note: You can also contact the City Of Newport Water Department and request to have your water turned off and back on.
Remember to turn your water on. You must turn your water on when you return to your condominium. You need to avoid damaging your electric water heater if you fail to turn your water on.
